Crystal Ball 2008

June 2008 saw the Crystal Ball at Sandy Park.

The event was attended by over 300 people, all of whom were there to share in Dream-A-Way's celebrations and to enjoy the evenings' entertainment.

For the organisers, the day started at 10am with the setting up of the venue.

Mary helps to set up the napkins for the tables.
One of many small, yet crucial jobs to be done throughout the day.
Without the support of volunteers such as Mary, the event would not have been the success it was!

With the tables featuring beautiful floral decorations from POPPYS and balloons from ITS YOUR DAY, the entertainment ready to go, the venue was set.

Special thanks goes to the Ball Committee.
These six people have orchestrated the ball from it's very beginnings until the end of the nights event and beyond!
Even whilst the party was in full swing, this tireless bunch were working hard to ensure
all our guests were having a great time.

Once all the guests had departed for the evening and in the days following, it is these great people who are working hard to ensure all ends are tied, and preparations begin for our
Holly Ball in association with the Express & Echo "We Care" campaign, on November 28th 2008.

"Isn't this all so MARVELLOUS!"
Exclaims our Chaiman, whilst enjoying the evenings' entertainment.

Guests were showered with confetti and balloons on arrival at the Ball.

Held on the main glass stairwell, this created a stunning visual impact.

The evening featured entertainment from the MITIE Casino and live music from The SOUL AGENTS.
WESTERLY BMW provided a Roll-The-Dice table, and a Chocolate fountain from SUMMERS DELIGHT ensured our guests were adequately fed when the midnight munchies struck.
There was also a professional Photographer on hand to capture the moment.
