We Care Campaign presents the 2008 Holly Ball

 


 

Dream-A-Way are delighted to be associated with the Express & Echo’s We Care Campaign, which is successfully highlighting the special needs of thousands of unpaid carers and addressing these issues.

In recognition of this campaign we are proud to present our irst Holly Ball at Sandy Park on Friday, November 28th.

The evening will include complimentary arrival drink on arrival, pre-dinner entertainment, a chocolate fountain, a superb Posh Nosh dinner, a ‘money can’t buy’ auction, and entertainment by the award-winning Fab Beatles, generously sponsored by Timepiece.

Following the amazing success of our three previous sell-out balls at Sandy Park, we anticipate another unforgettable evening for all our guests and we would like to invite you to join us.

Tables of 10 can be purchased for £450 and individual tickets at £45.

Companies are invited to sponsor tables for £150.

Dinner menu

Starters
Roasted winter parsnip soup with pesto oil
Fresh melon trio and candied baby figs with cranberry and orange syrup
Ham hock terrine with fresh baby leaves and grain mustard dressing
Fresh breads to be presented to each table at the commencement of service

Main courses
Roast crown of turkey, Haggetts of Silverton chipolata wrapped in bacon,
with home-made stufing and mulled red wine and juniper berry reduction.
Served with oven roasted new potatos and winter vegetables.

Fillet of salmon on a bed of vegetable ribbons with lemon and dill hollandaise,
crushed potato cake with peppered watercress.

Chick-pea and winter vegetable wellington on a bed of caramelised red
cabbage with sherry sauce.

Dessert
Stem ginger and brandy crème brulee with home-made cinnamon biscotti.
Treacle and pecan tart with warm winter spiced compote.
Plated selection of West Country cheeses with Ottervale cider apple chutney.
Fresh filter coffee with mints
