2012 Karting at Raceworld

Businesses descended on the extensively modernised and lengthened indoor kart stadium at RACEWORLD just outside Exeter to celebrate the first year of these vastly improved facilities

In conjunction with local charity Dream-A-Way businesses provided teams to compete in the brand new fleet of RIMO EVA 5 karts
The racing was exciting and competitive with representatives from Isca Ventures, PURPLE Promotions, Exeter Golf and Country Club, KIA Motors, Capital Taxis, EXPRESS & ECHO, Radio Exe, Berrybrook Motors, Frobishers, Timepiece Nightclub, Torbay Holiday Helpers Network, Exeter City, Land Securities, Landmark, NatWest, Devon Cliffs, Basher Tate and WILKINSON GRANT.

The top three scoring companies were Wilkinson Grant, Berrybrook Motors and Basher Tate.
An exciting final resulted in the top four in reverse order .....

In 3rd Mark JOHNS Basher Tate
In second Sean ANTHONY Berrybrook Motors
And our Grand Prix winner was Jack JOHNS Basher Tate with a stunning performance throughout the evening.

There were several notable performances particularly from the Echo’s EDITOR Andy PHELAN , Mark TYLER from Radio EXE and Julian TAGG from Exeter City.

Dream-A-Way chairman Jeff MERRETT MBE said : “We had a tremendous response from our corporate partners to this complimentary evening hosted and supported by the team at Raceworld.
Their new conference facilities are a useful asset and well worth further investigation. Thanks to Cara’s Diner for feeding us and to all the companies that took time out to come along and support the evening”.
