Ladies Golf Day 2011 - Stover Golf Club
Thursday 30th June 2011 saw the 9th Annual Dream-A-Way Ladies' Golf Day at Stover Golf Club.
Around 130 ladies from Golf Clubs all over the South West enjoyed what was agreed "the best yet" .
The weather was fine, always a bonus, and there was generous
hospitality provided by Stover Golf club.
Exeter ladies did well by winning the 1st and 3rd individual prizes
and with the generous support from many sponsors and hard work from
all the volunteers, the day raised in excess of two and a half
thousand pounds for Dream-A-Way.
The Charity’s Chairman Jeff Merrett said “Special thanks must go to
all the Golf clubs who gave prizes for the day and also Langage Farm
who donated tubs of their delicious ice-cream for us all to enjoy
after the game."
Planning is already under way for
our 10th annual golf day back at Stover on Thursday 5th July 2012 -
please remember to book early!
