Around The World With The Lord Mayor
Dream-A-Way is fortunate to have been selected
as the charity of the Right Worshipful The Lord Mayor of Exeter Councillor
John Winterbottom for 2009/10.
In partnership with Councillor Winterbottom we are proud to announce an
ongoing treat for all food aficionados out there - Around The World With
The Lord Mayor.
The event is a series of meals at popular local restaurants, all of whom have kindly agreed to support the Lord Mayor's fundraising by hosting these fabulous events.
The meals/countries currently visited (with more to follow) are:
Wednesday 9th

THAI SHANGHAI Restaurant at the Cowley Bridge Inn, Exeter
£8 from each booking was generously donated by Thai Shanghai
Restaurant to Dream-A-Way through the Lord Mayors fundraising.
Wednesday 14th October
2009
The GANDHI Restaurant, New North Road, Exeter
£7.50 from each booking was generously donated by The Gandhi
Restaurant to Dream-A-Way through the Lord Mayors fundraising.
Wednesday 4th November
The Twisted Oak, Little John’s Cross, Exeter
£7.50 from each booking was generously donated by The Twisted Oak to Dream-A-Way through the Lord Mayors fundraising.

Almost 60 hungry guests joined the Lord Mayor Cllr John
WINTERBOTTOM the Lady Mayoress and the Deputy Lord Mayor and her Escort at
the Twisted Oak Little Johns Cross Hill for the English leg of the Around
the World with the Lord Mayor
Enjoying a wholesome, tasty 3 course "Best of British" menu the guests
raised almost £600 for the Lord Mayor's charity Dream-A-Way
We take a Christmas break but the next Around the World venue and
nationality will be announced soon ...don't miss it!

All meals start at 7.30pm and spaces are
limited so book early to avoid disappointment!
