Dream-A-Way Wins £6000 NatWest CommunityForce Award!
Dream-A-Way is celebrating after being declared a local winner in the national NatWest CommunityForce awards scheme.
With over 400 unique votes we have won £6000 which will be used to
support our initiatives to provide financial assistance to people
who need support. Specifically we intend to replace one
of our holiday homes at Devon Cliffs Holiday Park near Exmouth.
Dream-A-Way Chairman Jeff Merrett said
“As the chairman of
Dream-A-Way, I am delighted that we have been awarded a £6000 grant
in the NatWest CommunityForce Challenge 2011. I would like to offer
sincere thanks to all our hundreds of supporters who took their time
to vote for Dream-A-Way and to NatWest for so generously funding
this amazing initiative which has helped so many local charities
throughout the Country. Our grant will be used towards the funding
of a brand new, specially adapted holiday home at Sandy Bay which
will bring delight to many families with disabilities, for years to
come”.
The Dream-A-Way Team would like to pay special thanks to our recently appointed Grants & Lottery Co-ordinator Graham Davey for this great success in his very first project! Special mention also goes to our Vice Chairman Bob Beer for his assistance.
